ABOUT ME
If you have come to this site looking for a professional photographer - sorry you are a bit early. What I am a keen amateur who has, in my spare time, had an interest in taking beautiful and interesting images for over 30 years.
For much of this time it has been a case of using the automatic functions of the camera, pointing it at what I wanted to take and pressing the shutter button - often on film.
Sometimes I have been lucky and got an amazing image - others have been more about capturing the moment with a young family.
Over the past few years I have been on a journey from taking "snaps" to consciously thinking about the photos I want to take, the subject, lighting, composition and the processing of those images.
I decided that as I cannot be the only one on this journey I would document
what I learn, how I improve and the places I enjoy photographing.
